Zero. Right now, but in the future? DfT probably won’t touch until helmet usage is at 50percent or more, right now it’s 30 percent. It’s even lower for kids, hence the zeal for compulsion. However, this also means that if you force kids to wear lids by law, many will give up on cycling, a net health loss to society. V few cyclists die (relatively) from cycle-related injuries, but hundreds of thousands of people die from sedentary-related diseases.
