		<description>When the Conservatives were in power I foolishly believed the New Labour rhetoric of changing driving habits and getting to grips with the roads mentality.

Indeed two Jags Prescott said judge me, if traffic hasn't been reduced by 20% in five years I  will have failed.  That was about 6 years ago and his (and New Labour's) record speaks for itself.

Where do we go from here?  The fact remains this problem is not party specific one.  It's a national and cultural problem of ours.  

Like school dinners we know what's wrong and what needs to be done.  Are we now looking for Jamie Oliver figure?  Superficial and banal he may be but our society works on the back of celebrities and banal one's at that.

I'm searching for where to take the campaigning to next.</description>
